When you visit the Toa Nafasi website, we collect some basic aggregate information, such as total number of visitors, pages viewed, and other non-personally identifiable information. We use this information to improve our website and the resources that we offer on it. We do not collect any personal information when you visit and browse our website.
Online Donations
When you choose to make an online donation, however, we require that you provide personal information. The Toa Nafasi Project has partnered with Razoo Website to securely process your online credit card donation via the Razoo Global Corporation and Razoo Foundation (EIN 27-2499903).
When you make a donation to Toa Nafasi by pressing the “Donate” or “Donate Now!” buttons, Razoo collects some personal information about you in order to properly process your donation. This personal information includes: name, address, phone number, email address, credit card information, and acknowledgement information, as well as the donation amount. Razoo shares this information only with The Toa Nafasi Project, so that we can count you among our supporters. You have the option to make your donation anonymously. If you choose this option, Razoo will not share any of your contact information with Toa Nafasi.
Razoo collects credit card information so that they can process donations and monthly fees. They maintain this information on their secure servers for their internal processes only, using a credit card processing company to process donations and monthly fees, and therefore does not retain, share, store, or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
Subscribing to Our Mailing Lists
The Toa Nafasi Project also requests personal information from website visitors who sign up to receive special email or print publications, namely, your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. We use this information to provide the email and print communications you request and to keep you informed about our work.
You always have the option to unsubscribe from such communications. Toa Nafasi does not send cookies (small bits of information) to your browser or hard drive. Razoo uses session cookies while a visitor is making a donation using a Razoo “Donate” button in order to properly verify a donor’s identity as they move from one donation page to the next. These session cookies are not linked to personally identifiable information.
Children Under the Age of 13
The Toa Nafasi Project does not knowingly collect any personal information from a child without the consent of the child’s parent(s)/guardians.
Children under the age of 13 should obtain parental consent before making an online donation or signing up for email or mail communications from The Toa Nafasi Project.
Privacy Policy Summary
Toa Nafasi does not share, sell, or rent the personal information that you submit to receive mailings from us or to make online donations.
